SUGGESTED PACKING LIST
HANG THIS ON THE
REFRIGERATOR FOR WHEN YOU PACK!!
Make sure you bring the
following items.
2 changes of clothes plus extra socks (appropriate for
weather- MUST include coat or warm jacket with hood or warm
hat). We suggest that you wear layers of
clothing. For example, wear a short
sleeve shirt under a sweat shirt so you can “peel off” outer layers as the day
warms up. The weather in and around D.C.
is usually windy and a bit cooler than it is here.
Deodorant and shampoo
Comb/brush
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Rain gear- poncho/umbrella
Meal money- (Will be purchasing 4 fast food meals- we
suggest $10.00 per meal)
Snack for Wednesday morning
Comfortable shoes (this is not the time for new
shoes). Tennis shoes are best.
Sunscreen/sunglasses/chapstick
Pajamas
Over the counter medication (Such as Tylenol or cough
medicine - with a note saying we can give it)
Suitcase/small traveling case (**Make sure money, etc
needed for Wednesday is NOT in this suitcase!!)
Book bag (separate from suitcase) - YOU BRING IT,
YOU CARRY IT!!
Snack foods for hotel (nabs, chips, etc. Pack these in
your suitcase.)
Movies for the bus - rated G or PG only-please
label case and DVD with your name in black marker.

Remind 101, Class Dojo, Spelling City, Google Classroom
We will be using our Chromebooks a lot in our classroom this year.
Students will be logging into Google Classroom to complete and turn in assignments. Please ask them to show this to you.
Please sign up for Remind for my class. Instructions will come home on Monday, August 24, 2015.
